Glymur

Iceland's second tallest waterfall plunges 198 metres into a narrow canyon in Hvalfjörður — the long fjord north of Reykjavik that served as a key Allied naval base during World War II. The hike to Glymur crosses a river ford and winds through birch woodland before reaching the clifftop above the falls.
