Muted - Empire (12" Ltd.)

Empire is the second LP from Germany-based Icelandic electronic artist Muted, following his debut Muted World (2014). The album blends experimental electronic production with field recordings and synthesizers, shaped by Icelandic nature and themes of technology and science. It features collaborations with Icelandic vocalists JFDR (Jófríður Ákadóttir), FEY, Ásdís María, and dj. flugvél og geimskip.

Released on Muted’s own label in a very limited 12" vinyl edition, the album presents a cinematic journey through layered soundscapes and atmospheric songwriting.
