Muted - Empire Remixes (12" Ltd.)

Five years after Empire, Muted returned with a carefully curated set of reinterpretations of the original album. Eight tracks were handed to a select group of artists he trusts, each offering their own perspective while staying rooted in the atmosphere of the original record. The result is a release that moves between ambient abstraction and more rhythmic, club-oriented interpretations, unified by the same sonic texture as Empire.

Released in an ultra-limited run of just 100 hand-numbered vinyl copies, this edition was issued directly by Muted with no traditional label or distributor involvement — a fully independent release driven by creative intent rather than commercial planning.

The remixers include Subminimal, Octal Industries, OHM, Paranoid One, Moss Lush, Lostlojic, and Volruptus.
