Its glacier-capped summit soars above the surrounding East Highland plateau in solitary magnificence, visible from vast distances across the moorland. As a backlit lithophane, the mountain's dramatic vertical relief, long sweeping flanks and luminous snowfields produce one of the most beautiful plays of light in the collection.
